Compassionate End-of-Life care
Pets are a part of our families, and losing a pet is painful no matter the circumstances. At Hunt Valley Animal Hospital, we aim to create a quiet, caring environment where you and your family feel supported and informed when making decisions about the end of your pet’s life.
Our veterinarians also realize that this is a stressful situation for you, so they can counsel you about your pet’s individual condition and what to expect down the road.
Hospice Care
Our hospice care focuses on helping pets remain comfortable during the final stage of life while they are cared for at home by their families. Our veterinary team provides guidance, comfort recommendations, and medications through in-hospital visits to help manage pain and maintain quality of life for both dogs and cats.
While we do not routinely provide in-home hospice or house call services, our team will work closely with you to support end-of-life comfort care. In very limited circumstances, a house call may be considered depending on availability and the specific needs of the situation.
