Vivian Ho, DVM
Dr. Ho graduated from Texas A&M University in 1998 earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and went on to attend the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary medicine, graduating with a DVM in 2003.
Having lived in Houston, Texas most of her life, the move to Maryland (still technically “southern”) was quite a surprise. There are actually four distinct separate seasons and something that falls from the sky called snow! She has practiced in a few small animal/avian/exotic veterinary hospitals with her most recent stint at Fallston Veterinary Clinic working under the late Dr. Don Zantop. Her interests are in avian and exotic medicine and she is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Association of Avian Veterinarians.
Beyond avians and exotics she is passionate about pathology and loves studying slides under a microscope. That is actually how she got her roots in veterinary medicine. She was considering medicine and pathology but gets motion sickness from too many hours looking through a microscope so she decided to combine her passions and go the route of veterinary medicine and boy are we lucky she did!
Dr. Ho shares her house with a husband, 5 lovebirds, 2 budgies, 2 canaries, 2 corn snakes, 2 beta fish, and 1 very spoiled rotten house cat named Spot (Trekkies should understand!). She enjoys reading, naps on the couch, sewing, channel surfing, and eating the delicious food cooked by her talented husband.

Timothy Cujdik, DVM
Some are lucky enough to find love early in life and that is the story of Dr. Timothy Cujdik and his veterinary career. Dr. Cujdik’s first job in high school was at a veterinary hospital. That first job ignited a passion that would continue to fuel him for the next 25+ years.
While attending University of Maryland Dr. Cujdik worked for NIH (National Institute of Health) studying the effects of thyroid hormones and corticosteroids on physiologic function. He also received his EMT certification while in school and developed a CE program for EMT’s in Charles County prior to graduating. During his tenure at NIH he coauthored many peer reviewed published papers that are still referenced and in circulation today. Research was fun but there was still something missing for Dr. Cujdik so he left NIH to pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine at University of Tennessee. He graduated in 1992 and returned home to his roots in Baltimore where his veterinary career has flourished.
Dr. Cujdik spent the next 23 years practicing veterinary medicine at Main Street Animal Hospital, Vinson Animal Hospital, and most recently Old Court Animal Hospital. He has an amazing reputation in our region and it is with great honor that we now get to call him our teammate. As of September 1st, 2016, Dr. Timothy Cujdik is officially Hunt Valley Animal Hospital family.
Dr. Cujdik is passionate about his patient’s as well as their parent’s well-being. You will find him constantly going that extra mile to ensure everyone is comfortable. He loves everything about veterinary medicine, especially digging into tough skin cases. Dermatology is definitely one of his favorite areas. In addition to his veterinary degree, Dr. Cujdik has continued his education in feline medicine and dermatology.
Outside of the veterinary hospital Dr. Cujdik has had a long successful show career. He has been lucky enough to own some of the top Old English Sheepdogs in the U.S. and Europe. His own Villa’s Cruella at Dizzny even won the Pastoral Group at Crufts and is enjoying retirement in Sweden. He has had multiple Best in Show wins and knows what it takes to get there so he is a popular veterinarian of choice in the show circuit.
When Dr. Cujdik is not talking veterinary medicine he can be found gardening his 5 acre home in Greenspring Valley, cooking (another passion), tackling numerous DIY projects, taking time in Dewey Beach, and of course spending time with his four legged and human family members.
I’d/I/I’ll: I’d rather be with family / I love all aspects of gardening, enjoy my rose garden, and trying to grow difficult plants. / I’ll someday realize that I slow down a little and that I won’t die if I go into the ocean, water, or sand. I do not like ocean/lake water or sand. It can be embarrassing at times.
My First Pet: Nicholas, a rescued Bearded Collie. He lived to be 15 and is buried in my parent’s backyard. With my first paycheck as a veterinarian I bought him a granite headstone. He changed my life.
Favorite Guilty Pleasure Song: Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N’ Roses. It’s everyday life.

My First Pet: A Jack Russell Terrier named Peanut who I got when I was 5. He was absolutely obsessed with food and was the quirkiest little guy who ended up basically adopting me.
Favorite Guilty Pleasure Song: Hysteria by Muse, perfect for whatever mood I am in!
In my spare time I can be found: Studying and pursuing my bachelors in Biology, going on hikes/walks with my dogs, reading, spending time with my friends and family and sleeping….lots of sleeping!
