Bertram Francis Williams, III (aka, Bert, Schmerto) 1996-2008:  "My best friend and constant companion.  He was a shoulder to cry on, my co-pilot, my hiking partner, my critic, my shadow.  He was my first baby and all will be measured to him.  I will always miss him and think about him always."

"No one loves you unconditionally as your beloved pet."  ~Cynthia S. Dobesh

"To our beloved Onyx, you will be missed.  Everyone who met you, loved you.  You were always welcoming when we walked in the door, to doing your tricks when you got a treat, and your 'long' walks across the street.  We love you so much and you will always be in our hearts."

Reagan Kruft 1997-2010:  "To Reagan, my handsome, gentle and loving little boy.  Mr. Reagan, Weegan, Pinkie Man, Cellophane Man, and Mr. Nagger - all of these nicknames described a part of your personality.  Thoughts of you bring a smile to my face and tears to my eyes.  You were my best buddy, my walking companion and my bedmate.  I will always love you and never forget you.  Godspeed my little Boy."

Galatea Vatz 1992-2011:  "In the arms of her adoring companions, Shaina and Walter, Galatea Vatz Kuhn passed away this evening, Tuesday, January 11.  Gally was known for her beauty and stunning blue eyes, but those creatures close to her knew she was also an unparalleled snuggler and cuddler.  Some of her famous moves included strategic head butts to any hand guilty of insufficient petting, aggressive burrowing beneath bed sheets and the ever-adorable patting of sad people's arms with her paw.  Born in Delaware, Gally came to the Vatz family on Shaina's 11 birthday as a gift from her Grandma Pychock.  She arrived in a box with holes, out of which she pressed her bright pink nose, which sported a little black dot just in the center.  As a kitten, Gally enjoyed chasing the feet of sleeping people and resting in the crook of her favorite chair.  Ever the elegant, regal cat, Gally never bothered much with toys and was untroubled by catnip.  In Gally's later years, she resided with Shaina in Fells Point and later Mount Vernon.  She and Shaina fell in love with Walter Kuhn in 2007 and Gally waited until Shaina and Walter were happily married to pass away at the age of 18.  Gally will be as missed as she was loved.  She joins Walter's recently departed 18 year old cat Bill in cat heaven, where he has assuredly prepared a comfortable porch with fresh mouse for her arrival."

Hershey Bear Winn 1997-2011:  "Everyone knows how much my family loves our 14 year old Chocolate Lab Hershey Bear.  She never complained and has been the best dog/friend any family could ever ask for.  She has helped raise our three children and watched a lot of other kids grow up alongside them for 14 years.  She loves the Grandbabies just as much and watches over them like she did their parents.  I will miss her standing up at the kitchen window watching us come in and seeing her curly tail wagging uncontrollably with anticipation of the door opening.  The house just isn't the same without her and I believe all dogs go to heaven and that is where she will be waiting for the rest of us.  We love and miss you Hershey Bear!"

Weatherby Letzer 1994-2011:  Dearest Weatherby, The house has been very quiet since you left.  Your absence has pierced the depths of my soul and carved a hole in my heart.  I want to thank you for filling the last 16 1/2 years of my life, which you filled with utter joy as my loyal and faithful companion, my best friend, my co-pilot, my buddy.  The knowledge that you are now in a better place, playing with other friends, and free of pain gives me some consolation.  You made many friends down here and touched many hearts.  People have not stopped asking about you and are very sorry for my loss.  I have received some beautiful cards from HVAH and PET+ER.  You will be dearly missed old boy, especially by Mommy.

TIL WE MEET AGAIN DEAR BUDDY,
Alison Letzer

Little Sox Mee 1998-2011:  "Little Sox was so darling.  All you had to do was touch her and she would start purring.  I knew when I rescued her, she would be a sweet little thing.  We all miss her dearly!!"

Cole Rhodes 2001-2011:  "Cole was my "Special Boy", My Heart Dog.  He has seen Allan ever since he was a baby.  Cole never knew an enemy and was the kindest GSP I have ever known.  Thank you all so much for helping to give him the best care ever.  The card you sent was wonderful.  Even though it made me cry, I know that Cole is over the Rainbow Bridge playing with his buddies.  Patiently waiting for me.
R.I.P. Cole, I will always love you."

Max Bolander 2002-2011:  "He will be missed, but never forgotten.  Max was our dear friend and faithful companion. He gave us his unconditional love and brought so much joy and fun to our house.  He was a gentle giant and everyone knew how much we loved him.  Our house is not the same without you.  We miss you very much Maxxie boy.  You will be forever in our hearts and mind, until we meet again.  We love you."

Hastings Martin 5/10/10-12/26/11:  "To our sweetest Hastings:  There wasn't a day that went by that we weren't thankful you were found and became part of our family.  You filled our hearts with so much love and joy; a lot said coming from such a little creature.  There will not be a day that you're not thought about which will put smiles on our faces and tears in our eyes because you are dearly missed.  You displayed as much affection as and had the personality of a cat or dog.  Thank you for opening our eyes, as well as others, to how wonderful a pet rat can be.  We miss you."

Ratso 2/2012:  "He was a daily presence in the lives of everyone at Milner-Fenwick.  From that autumn day in 2008 when we moved into our Beaver Dam office, Ratso had been one of the many strays roaming the verdant woods around the lakefront.  We fed him and before long, he took pleasure in bathing himself.  Soon his fur turned brighter and reflected the sun once again.  He was happy and able to play in the grass along with the other strays as the sun faded into autumn.  We became accustomed to seeing him at our kitchen door every morning and before we left in the evenings, waiting for  his meals.  He was as much a part of our daily life at work as our morning coffee and routine tasks.  His last day with us was as good as any one of the more pleasant days in his life.  It was an unseasonably warm winter day reaching in the mid 50s with plenty of sunshine.  Ratso, rolled playfully on his back on the sidewalk soaking up every ray and cleaning himself with his hurt paw!  He knew how to squeeze the joy from every moment.  A lesson for us all.  We will miss our little Ratso."

"He really was an extraordinary cat with a resilience I've never seen.  He survived 3 blizzards with us!"

"...Ratso was really special to us and we really miss him...for a homeless vagabond - he sure did touch us and we do take comfort in the fact for his last couple of years...we made him ours and loved and cared for him."

Colleen Corder, Adele Mason and the staff of Milner-Fenwick, Inc.

Joey (Jobo) Choksi (9/1996-2/2012) - "Carboholic, Quirky, Adventerous.  You were the love, joy and sunshine in our lives we will forever cherish although your light dimmed, we hold you in our hearts as we did our hands.  There will always be a hole in our hearts that we can never fill, but we don't want to either.  We know the tears we now cry for you will be replaced with 'Do you remember when Joey...'  You gave us 17 years of your amazing spirit.  You danced to your own music, you taught us that love can be wrapped in a tiny body of bent feathers, happy dances in the sun and we are truly grateful to have it in our lives as long as we did.  Til we meet again little bird."
